General anaesthetic How long is the recovery time for full body makeover surgery? It takes around 2 weeks for the wound to heal. It takes up to 6 months for the final shape of the body areas. For the first week, we advise light activities. Patients can do a slow jog after a month, but heavy exercise is advisable 2 to 3 months after surgery. How many times of follow-up sessions? We will see the patients after 2 weeks of discharge, then at first month and second months. What are the risks of the surgery? The general risks of all surgeries are wound infection, bleeding, and anaesthetic risks. Our plastic surgeon will explain in detail upon consultation. The specific risk for a full body makeover is thigh asymmetry. However, all the necessary steps will be taken to reduce these risks. When is the earliest can I do the surgery? Our main days of surgeries are every Monday and Friday for general anaesthetic cases and Wednesday for local anaesthetic cases.
